Last Tuesday, I tested the legs. I intended to show up for the Night Crawlers run, send them off, and then do some geocaching, under the guise of resting my legs. But of course, I went with them.I stayed near the back, and jogged slowly but mostly walked. Susan was in the walking mood, and we caught up on the events of the world.
We finished out time with a venture across the levee which bisects Lake Yahola.
It was slow going. Extremely rocky, and un-runnable. It was DARK by the time we made it the .3 miles across, and the wind howling across the water from the north sealed the notion that this was an AWFUL idea.
But we made it--witnessed only by an omniscient full moon.
