Back in the day, there were a couple of bands that played around town--Rockin Jimmy Byfield and the Brother of the Night, and Jim Sweney and the Jumpshotz. A small Tulsa Record label did a few 45s and some albums, and also a collection of selections from local artists of Tulsa called the Tulsa Sampler. I would LOVE to find some of these recordings, and/or find them on iTunes so I could put them on my phone or iPod.
Not much to see here as far as videos--just some great but forgotten tunes.
