Running on Turkey Mountain, particularly early in the morning, one can sample a variety of spider webs. I usually start out my runs looking like a middle age middle weight balding runner, and end up just as old and just as fat, but I have enough webbing on my head to pass for a full head of white hair. What do these arachnids think--putting their snares right on the trail? Has that ever really worked out for them?

Finally, a study of how various drugs affect the construction of spider webs. This was very enlightening.
